Spread across 13 acres of thoughtfully designed planting, Burrow Farm Gardens combines strong horticultural interest for keen gardeners with peaceful walks and outstanding seasonal colour. Whether your group is seeking planting inspiration, a scenic countryside visit or a well-organised coach day out in Devon, the gardens provide an enjoyable experience throughout the season.

Our friendly Tea Room is well equipped to welcome groups and can seat up to 52 guests indoors — ideal for a full coach party — with additional outdoor seating available during warmer months. Groups can relax and enjoy a delicious selection of homemade cakes, traditional Devon cream teas, light lunches and refreshments, making Burrow Farm Gardens an excellent choice for a complete day out.

After exploring the gardens, visitors can browse the on-site gift shop and well-stocked plant nursery. Many groups enjoy the opportunity to purchase unusual plants, garden gifts and souvenirs to take home, adding extra appeal for gardening clubs and plant enthusiasts.

We offer attractive discounted admission for pre-booked groups of 10 or more visitors, with garden entry priced at £11.50 per person. Burrow Farm Gardens is experienced in welcoming coach operators, gardening societies and organised groups, and we are happy to help visits run smoothly.

We recommend allowing at least two hours to explore the gardens, although many groups choose to stay longer to enjoy the Tea Room and nursery. Coach parking is available on site.

Enhance your group visit with a conducted tour of Burrow Farm Gardens, led by our knowledgeable gardening team. Tours are typically guided by Garden Manager Michael — the grandson of garden creator Mary — or by one of our experienced gardeners, offering visitors fascinating insight into the history, design and seasonal highlights of the gardens.

Guided tours are complimentary for pre-booked groups of 25 or more visitors. For smaller groups, tours are available for a £25 fee per group.

Tours must be arranged in advance and are subject to availability, so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
